i don’t believe for a second that the death penalty is a deterrent to anything.
however, i do believe that it is a necessary tool of justice for immature societies who can not find other ways to punish those among us who commit the most vile of crimes against the innocent.
with that in mind, it seems to me to be a perfectly appropriate penalty for people who cut in line or do not wait their turn in a traffic merge.
