when i was a kid, i had good reason to think that when i turned fifty, there would be flying cars, jet packs, and female robots named rhoda.
i've been fifty for six years now and i'm still waiting.
i told my son about this disappointment the other day and he said, well at least we have ipods.
and i thought, well that's about as comforting as winning miss incongeniality at an ugly contest.

Still can't think of a reason I need an ipod. My 8-track player still works great!
love those 8 tracks, my daughter gave me an mp3 player for christmas and i have lost it twice already and christmas is still a few weeks away, you can never lose an 8 track
