"if it's good news, it must be someone else's"

I suppose I should say something ...

"Met some fantastic people," is the first thing that comes to mind. "Made some good friends along the way," is another. "Even came close to getting published," is something I'll always keep in mind. Good stuff really.

Ya know, there is something about this writing humor thing that will never go away, and although I haven't felt the funny for some time or haven't had that itch to put words to my crazy thoughts in half a year, I suspect it is still right there. In my soul. Just biding its time for the right moment.

This isn't it. The time that is.

I'm thinking maybe the summer. Yeah, the summer. I'd like that. I'd like to start something new too. Don't know what. Mysterious possibly. Under a pseudonym. Yeah, I'd like that too. In the meantime, I'll continue to tweet from time to time so that I don't rust completely. I don't want to become the Tin Man of blogging.

So don't get all nuts if this site comes down, as I turn a blog page, so to speak.

To quote Arnold, "I'll be back."

You know, Bob, this is very sad. The Pond is special as are all your Pond chums. I really hate to see you delete this blog. BUT...I do understand. Sometimes it's just good to start over, from scratch.

Just remember, you have loads of talent, and loads of special friends who love you. Keep us posted.

Fans can be a demanding pain in the ass, but hey Bob that’s just the price you have to pay for being such genuinely funny and inspiring guy. We may not be a mob of millions clamoring to buy your books, but if one comes out you can bet we’ll be the first in line. I’ll even do some clamoring. Anyway, best of luck in whatever you pursue next, and I sure hope you’ll keep us all posted so we can continue to follow in your dust, like the good posse that we are. Happy trails Bob :)

I think this whole posse should get together and write a cook book.
