the swiss are nearing completion of the largest particle accelerator ever built.
it’s purpose: to smash atoms together and see what happens.
the problem: the outcome could be big, as in big disaster.
something about creating a black hole that would suck in everything around it, including the numbskulls who’d know how to unplug the damn thing.
but they claim it’s a 1 in 50 million chance—about the same as winning the powerball lottery.
now the last i checked, someone usually wins the powerball lottery.
so how is that scenario suppose to make me sleep at night?
anyway, i’ve superglued a pair of work boots to the basement floor in preparation.
i read the instructions and nothing breaks a superglue seal, not even black holes.
so i’m pretty much ready for anything.

"Murphy's Law." This is supposed to be impossible to go wrong, but your chances at winning the lottery aren't so great either, but someone always wins...With this thing, it may be the one in a billion blow (or in the case of a black hole - 'suck up.' Leave it to man (or woman) to screw things up.
