it’s the strangest thing.
birds were committing suicide in alarming numbers.
i found another one dead after ramming itself into the sliding glass doors.
it was the third one in three days.
probably related to global warming somehow?
anyway, while windexing the glass doors into streak free transparency, the thought occurred to me to post dr. phil’s toll free suicide help line number across the glass doors.
it worked.
no more suicides.
and their songs seem so much more cheerful too.
thanks to the good doctor, i can probably take down the signs now.
