i asked, hey benny, do you believe in ghosts?
benny said, no way.
i asked, how come?
he said, well for one, seeing them would be more common if they existed.
i asked, as common as what?
he thought for a moment.
then he said, well they don't need to be as common as ufo sightings for instance but they'd definitely need to be more common than actual alien abductions.
i thought it best to say, i see.
then i quickly changed the subject.
