i was struck by the image of flowers in the vacant parliamentary seat of a fallen iraqi member.
it was the first time i have seen anything resembling tranquility in the otherwise chaotic debacle.
then i wondered where do flowers grow in iraq and thought that maybe that is where the green zone really is.
