it’s more than the cold racist remarks about the rutgers women’s basketball team.
it’s his addiction to power and self importance, and the free pass he thinks he has had as a result.
now he is mourning the loss, speaking pathetically of all his noble undertakings, of his black friends, of his worthiness.
that he is a good person who said a bad thing.
he is mistaken.
he was a comfortable person who said a comfortable thing.
and i have to say, he is anything but comfortable these days.
however, only when he understands "why", will i rethink his chances of making any real change.
in the meantime, he sounds like a clueless dope.
